Quick question... Does the following verse sound familiar to you? This is how we sang it when I was a kid and nobody else remembers it this way:
Aaaaand iiiiiif theeeee devil doesn't like it he can sit on a tack. OUCH! Sit on a tack. OUCH! Sit on a tack. And if the devil doesn't like it he can sit on a tack. Sit on a tack to stay! And I'm so happy, so very happy, I've got the love of Jesus in my heart...
Did I hear my uncle in the background too??? That little scene brought back some serious memories for me! I used to LOVE the sing alongs that would take place out of the blue in your household! Just here we are nothing better to do but strike up a song in perfect harmony with piano accompaniment! Wow, those boys are so LUCKY (Luuuukkkkeeeyyy!) to have My aunt and uncle as grandparents!
