It took me a long time to be able to go back to church in general but especially our church... the one we grew up in, the one that made me who I am, and the one that holds a vast majority of my "God" memories. It hurt too much and I didn't like church being a negative experience or bringing up fear/sadness/anger/etc. I can tell you it gets easier over time and you work out a new relationship between you and 'those days' at church. God is everywhere and in all things. He doesn't need you to 'sign in' at a church building to know your heart and your Love for him :)Megan Kennedyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13987264691610817121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1610793243623090328.post-13063600308877874582011-04-17T11:27:55.968-07:002011-04-17T11:27:55.968-07:00And on those days God meets us elsewhere. That's our appointed time with Him for that day and thats a good thing! <br />For years many of my Sundays will found away from church but with a group a young people driving to a parade. Looking back (and reading many of their posts) that time was appointed to listen to them, learn from them and share God's love with them. I treasure the church and its services. I treasure my appointed times even more.Ramonahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18213660291953213297noreply@blogger.com
