"I'm fixin' to leave soon." That drives me nuts. My Grandma used to say "youse guys" as in "Youse guys go help clean up." That was weird. In Spain men refer to their wives as their "mujer" which literally translates to calling their wife their woman, there is a word for wife, this totally irks me. I also hate the word panties-yuck.Kathrynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04023904062474531077noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1610793243623090328.post-57640624407357953362008-08-11T04:15:00.000-07:002008-08-11T04:15:00.000-07:00That's hilarious!! He always says, "Turkeys are done, people are finished."

And, "sweatin' like a pig" - he always says, "Pigs don't sweat, that's why they roll in the mud!"

I'm sure I could add a whole bunch of white-trash sayings to the list...with a thick southern drawl!!! tee heeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1610793243623090328.post-86206119645696492082008-08-10T17:51:00.000-07:002008-08-10T17:51:00.000-07:00Uh, not sure why I am now registered as "friends a...Uh, not sure why I am now registered as "friends and family" from the previous post?!?

Carolynchopkinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01068659156643577746noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1610793243623090328.post-5676688600443974722008-08-10T17:48:00.000-07:002008-08-10T17:48:00.000-07:00Amazing that you loved teaching kindergarten so mu...Amazing that you loved teaching kindergarten so much! GOOD ONE.

And another: really unique. To be unique means there not a singl other one that is even remotely like this one. You can't become more unique or really unique... to be unique is to stand alone already.

Yikes. The "less" already negates the word, therefore the "ir" is not needed.
