(I do happen to have a blue Sharpie, retractable fine tip. Always. But this looks like the work of the Crayola variety. Still, I almost took matters into my own hands. Honestly.)
I had a teacher that always carried a set of markers in her purse for this exact reason. She used to even tell stories of climbing on billboards to fix advertisers errors.
I notice that sort of stuff too. Can be very annoying!
