Dear Fellow Moms at the Park,

It was a beautiful, sunny day,

and I'm sorry we couldn't resist the splashy calls from the creek.

I apologize if you think that 50 degrees is too cool to play this way,

if you think I should have told them no.

I apologize that we made your parenting a little harder,

since your kids really wanted to play too.

I'm sorry.

But jeans will wash and shoes will dry.

And we had a really fun time.

And for that,

I am never sorry.
