Sacred Pages

I bought a new journal.

Hand-crafted leather, made in Italy.

A bit of a splurge. Not over the top, but more than I have normally spent on a new journal.

But, if a book is to hold my very life,

my every written thought,

if someday this book will tell my children about this journey,

how God met me here,

how he carried me,

how he turned my mourning into joy,

and my wailing into dancing,

then perhaps it is worth more than ten dollars.

A beautiful investment.

Lord, please meet me in these pages.

Show me who you are.

May I become like you.
