Neither is it especially effective to place him in timeout near the bathroom, or specifically near the temptation of the toilet paper roll.
This is what happens.
He doesn't look especially pensive, reflective, repentent, or thoughtful regarding his offensive actions. And I suppose it is also not effective to take pictures before calling a halt to the toilet paper party, only then explaining that this is not acceptable (but now well documented).

Looks like he is getting some pre-high school TPing practice! Elizabeth recently did this to her room using the roll of garbage bags for the diaper pail! Gathering 50+ bags is not my idea of fun.

Look at this way...It's great practice for all those high school weekend adventures.
That is awesome. Sometimes "time out" teaches the child a lesson. Sometimes it teaches Mom a lesson!
