Enormous.

After reading through James and Giant Peach more times than I'm sure of (sometimes to myself and sometimes to a classroom of little listeners... thank you, Roald Dahl), I believe I have met the inspiration for the story.

Would you look at this enormous peach I found at the grocery store yesterday?

This is one big peach.

I actually needed to take a moment to clarify: am I indeed at the neighborhood grocery store, or is this the county fair in which farmers all over town are competing for the blue ribbon for their gigantic prize-winning produce?

(What does it say about my ongoing writing processes, when I choose my produce based on writing topics, rather than the nutritional needs of my family?)
